Committee formed to inventory flood damage in Sanaa province

SANAA, Aug. 4 (YPA) – Governor of Sanaa province Abdulbasit al-Hadi on Tuesday stressed the necessity of concerted efforts to avoid damages caused by heavy rains in the valleys, noting that committees will be formed to inventory the damages.

This came during the governor’s visit to several valleys and al-Malah dam in al-Hisen district to inspect the damages caused by the torrents of heavy rains in the province.

He listened from the citizens to explanations about the damage left by the torrents in cemeteries, endowment lands, agricultural lands, houses and private property.

al-Hadi affirmed that his visit aimed to see the damages in the district in order to find the necessary solutions to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
