Riyadh agreement canceled secession: Deputy FM

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the Salvation Government Hussein al-Ezzi on Wednesday commented on the Riyadh agreement between “Hadi’s government” and the Southern Transitional Council (STC).

“We welcome the agreement between the STC and Islah (Islah Party loyal to Hadi’s government) as it ended the self-management and erased forever the flag of separation,” said al-Ezzi in a tweet on his Twitter account.

He added: “We wish this flag not be raised in light of the agreement, because then it will be a setback, and on the other hand it will put our brothers in Islah in an embarrassing situation and will reveal the falsehood of their position on the unity.”

Al-Ezzi concluded his tweet by saying, “It is nice to always say God’s peace be upon Ansarullah.”
