STC threatens Saudi Arabia to hand over Aden to al-Houthi forces

ADEN, July 26 (YPA) – A leader of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) threatened on Sunday Saudi Arabia to hand over Aden to al-Houthi forces.

Wadah Bin Attiyah, the leader of the STC, on his Twitter account, threatened the commander of the Saudi forces, to bring al-Houthi forces” to the Saudi-led coalition headquarters in Aden, within hours, if the STC militias withdrew from Aden.

The move came after the commander of the Saudi forces in Aden had suspended payment of the STC militias’ salaries in the last moments, from the Bank of Aden.
