Update: Death toll of al-Masa’fa massacre in Jawf rises to 25

JAWF, July 15 (YPA) – The death toll of the massacre committed by Saudi-led coalition aircraft in al-Masa’fa area of al-Hazm district of Jawf province on Wednesday raised to 25 dead, most of them women and children, in an initial toll, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the coalition aircraft targeted on Wednesday morning a wedding party attended by women and children at the home of the citizen Mabkhout Marzouq Marei in al-Masa’fa area.

The sources confirmed that Marib Hospital in the province received more than 16 severed bodies of women and children from the victims of the crime in addition to a number of wounded, while Al-Hazm Hospital received eight bodies of the dead and a number of wounded.

Govenor of Jawf province Major General Amer al-Marrani assured that “the coalition knows that the targeted village is completely free of any military presence, yet it has targeted civilians with premeditation.”
