Britain officially reveals its participation in war on Yemen

SANAA, July 7 (YPA) – Britain officially reveals on Tuesday its participation with the Saudi-led aggression coalition, through backing Saudi Arabia with advanced weapons to carry out the military action on Yemen.

According Reuters, Britain abolished the arms embargo to Saudi Arabia for use against the citizens in Yemen.

Moreover, Secretary of State for International Trade, Liz Truss, announced that her government canceled the law banning the export of arms to Saudi Arabia.

Last year, the British Court of Appeal concluded that the British government had violated the law in decision-making processes regarding granting licenses to export arms to Saudi Arabia.

London has seen widespread public protests to condemn the sale of the arms by the British government to Saudi Arabia, which are used to kill the Yemeni people.
