Hodeidah Governor reveals UN failure to enter convoy into Duraihimi

HODEIDAH, July 5 (YPA) – Acting Governor of Hodeidah, Muhammad Ayyash Qahim, confirmed that the United Nations failed to enter a food convoy for the citizens who were trapped in the city of Durihimi for more than two years, confirming its inability to implement the Sweden agreement on Hodeidah.
Qahim explained that the coalition countries did not stop bombing the citizens’ homes and service facilities, but rather practiced piracy on authorized oil, food and drug ships after they were searched in Djibouti.
He stressed that the detention of oil derivative ships and food at sea is the biggest violation of the Swedish agreement.
Qahim renewed the condemnation of the local authority for the coalition’s efforts to target civilians and civilian installations in various province.
He condemned the silence of the international community regarding the crimes committed by the coalition forces against the citizens and the failure to fulfill its responsibilities to protect civilians by stopping the war and lifting the siege.
