Saudi Arabia recognizes its exposure to 1659 missile, drone attacks

RIYADH, June 30 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia admitted on Monday that its territories have subjected to 1,659 attacks with missiles and drones since the war began in 2015.

Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir announced, at a joint press conference in Riyadh on Monday with the US Special Representative for Iran affairs Brian Hook, statistics of Yemeni army attacks against the kingdom.

Al-Jubeir said that the Houthi group launched 317 drones at the Kingdom, along with 318 ballistic missiles, which he claimed were “Iranian-made”, claiming that the Yemeni army and popular committees launched 64 booby-trapped ships.

The Saudi minister accused Iran of exporting weapons to terrorist organizations and the Houthi group, in light of the international embargo imposed on it, calling on the Security Council to prevent that.
