Zionist annexation project is war declaration: Hamas

GAZA, June 25 (YPA) – The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” said on Thursday that the Zionist occupation government’s decision to annex areas of the West Bank and the Jordan Valley is “a declaration of war against the Palestinian people.”

“The Palestinian resistance factions will be the faithful and loyal guardian defending the Palestinian people and their land and sanctities in this declared war by the Zionist occupation entity,” Abu Ubaida, military spokesman for the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, said in a brief speech on the anniversary of the kidnapping of the Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in 2006.

Abu Ubaidah stressed that the Palestinian resistance would not speak much about the Zionist annexation project, as much as it would say “a few clear words, which should be understood well by the occupation entity and who is behind it.”

Israel is scheduled to announce a project to annex the West Bank to its sovereignty in early July, amid Arab and international anticipation of the implications of this step.
