Report: Yemen army attacks sites, gatherings of Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – The Yemen army has waged military offensive operations, including artillery, missile and sniping attacks, against Saudi army and its militias’ sites and gatherings over the past 24 hour, Ansar Allah Media Center Said in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

  • Coalition media admitted killing six of its soldiers and injuring two by the fires of Yemen army in beyond border fronts.
  • In southern Saudi province of Najran:

Artillery and missile shells were fired toward Saudi-backed militias in Boqea desert.

Artillery force of the army shelled Saudi soldiers’ gatherings in Hamad Fort and Mrash censorship.

A militia was shot dead in Shaja’a site.

  • In Saudi border province of Jizan:

Artillery shelling targeted Saudi soldiers and their militias’ gatherings in Jadha’a-Namir, old-Mostahdath and beyond Tewal crossing.

  • In Asir border province:

Missile  and artillery bombardment targeted militias’ gatherings in Sod hills,  Sahn censorship and Alab crossing.

  • In Nehm district, some 50 km northern the capital Sanaa:

4 missiles, Zilzal-1, were fired toward militias’ camp under Faradht-Nehm.

  • In Taiz province:

A leader of Nephew of former slain President Saleh, brigadier-General Tareq Mohammed Saleh’s militias  was killed in Makha junction.

  • In Bayda province:

Six of Saudi-backed militias were killed by the fires of the army in NAtea and Qanea fronts.

A militias’ military vehicle was burned in Natea front.

  • In Medi district of Hajjah province:

The army targeted gatherings of militias by artillery shells and smashed a military vehicle in the north of Medi desert.
