Revolution leader calls for supporting agricultural sector, social solidarity

SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi on Thursday called for supporting the agricultural sector and paying attention to social solidarity far from betting on organizations.

In his speech Thursday afternoon on the occasion of the National Day of Steadfastness, Sayyed Abdulmalik affirmed that building the state institutions and serving the people requires cooperation to build the economy and other aspects.

“Yemen is an agricultural country and it has a diverse environment for various crops, which helps to provide the food that people need,” he said.

He called on merchants to cooperate with farmers and the state institutions in favor of supporting and improving the local agricultural production.

In his speech, Sayyed Abdulmalik also affirmed that “the reform and development of the education sector will help in developing the country in all fields.”

He stressed the need to take care of social solidarity away from betting on organizations, indicating that “what organizations offer is limited and governed by policies and should not be relied upon.”

In this regard, Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized the importance of paying Zakat that would fulfill the purpose and tackle poverty.

He also called for caring for the workforce and cooperating with charities that need greater attention, as well as paying attention social peace and solving the problems of revenge.
