Interior Ministry declares preparation to implement of preventive tasks to confront Coronavirus

SANAA, March 25 (YPA) – Minister of Interior announced on Wednesday the full preparation by civil defense units to carry out the preventive tasks to confront Coronavirus.

Deputy Interior Ministry for the Security Sector and Police, Major General Rizq Al-Joufi, affirmed that the Civil Defense Authority’s team is ready to launch extensive cleansing operations and implement quarantine, sanitary and ambulance tasks, in cooperation with the ministry of health, to face the epidemic outbreak.

Al-Joufi praised the efforts made by the Civil Defense Authority to confront this global epidemic, despite the scarcity of medical capabilities.

He called on businessmen to contribute to the battle of the Yemeni people against the Corona virus as religious and humanitarian duty.
