Yemeni army repels coalition’s attack in Asir

ASIR, Feb. 14 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Friday repelled an attack carried out by mercenaries loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

 Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place in Abwab al-Hadeed district, the official said.

On Thursday, the Yemeni army and popular committees repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed mercenaries toward Majaza front, leaving dozens of the mercenaries dead and wounded.

The attack of the mercenaries lasted for three hours without achieving any progress.
