Coalition forces continue to bomb civilians’ areas in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Monday continued to bomb civilians’ areas with various heavy and medium weapons in Hodeidah provinces, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that the coalition forces fired dozens of mortar shells at civilian areas in Muthallath al-Odein area of Hayis district and al-Shajan village in the besieged al-Durayhimi district.

Civilians’ homes and properties on the 50th Street in Hodeidah city were subjected to artillery shelling by the coalition forces, which left material damage, he added.

Regarding military violations, a military source in the province said that a military bulldozer belonging to the coalition forces set up new combat fortifications north of al-Jabaliya area.
