UAE-backed STC reinforces its troops in Abyan to confront Hadi’s forces

ABYAN, Dec. 6 (YPA) – The UAE-supported Southern Transitional Council (STC) reinforced its troops to confront the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s forces in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, sources added.

The sources affirmed that STC reinforcement, including dozens of tanks and military vehicles, came a day after the arrival of a military force of Hadi’s government in the coastal city of Shakra.

The reinforcements were the second batch of the STC to Zanjibar district in the same province in less than 24 hours on the first batch.
