Update: Coalition forces shell civilians’ homes in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Nov. 30 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition mercenary forces on Saturday continued to bombard civilians and target their homes with artillery and heavy machine guns in various districts of Hodeidah province, in a continual violation of the ceasefire and the recent UN-sponsored truce.

A security source reported that the coalition forces shelled two houses in al-Jarba village in the besiege al-Durayhimi district, which caused large damage to the houses.

The coalition forces bombed civilians’ villages with artillery shells in Hays district, and fired intensively from medium and heavy machine guns on the villages of Maghari, Shaab and other areas in the same district, according to the source.

On Friday, a child was killed and four others and their mother were injured when the coalition forces targeted their house in al-Jah al-Aa’la area of Bayt al-Faqih district. The shelling damaged the house and also killed a number of livestock.
