Dozens of coalition soldiers killed, injured on border fronts: Army spokesman

SANAA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie on Friday revealed that dozens of Saudi-led coalition militants, including Saudi soldiers, were killed and wounded in infiltration attempts towards the border and internal fronts during the past hours.

Commenting on the UN envoy’s briefing to the Security Council and his claim that the coalition air strikes on Yemen stopped during the past 48 hours, Sarie said ”this is not true, as the aggression warplanes launched more than 12 airstrikes.”

The spokesman explained that the army and the popular committees were able to confront more than six intensive infiltration attempts by the aggression forces in the frontier fronts and in Jawf, Taiz, Hodeidah provinces.

On the violations committed by the coalition, Brig. Sarie noted that the brutal aggression coalition warplanes supported the failed infiltration attempts with more than ten air raids, mostly on the province of Saada.
