Riyadh agreement gives coalition legitimacy to run southern Yemen: al-Jabwani

SANAA, Nov. 6 (YPA) – Minister of transport in Hadi’s government Saleh al-Jabwani on Wednesday said Riyadh agreement signed Tuesday between Hadi’s government and the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council gave Saudi-Emirati coalition full legitimacy to run the country.

“The rest of the agreement terms and what will happen on the ground is the details of this management and its behavior,” al-Jabwani added in a tweet on his account on Twitter.

Al-Jabwani noted that the coalition has become the official legitimacy under the Riyadh agreement, adding that “Hadi’s legitimacy turned into just a party like the transitional council.”

He said that the future of legitimacy would depend on the men it would choose to manage the stage.
