Update: Army repels large-scale coalition’s attack in Hajjah
HAJJAH, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Sunday repelled a large-scale attack of coalition-backed mercenaries in Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The mercenaries were inflicted heavy losses during repelling their attack in the west of Nar mount which was supported by coalition’s Apache helicopters and warplanes and lasted for more than four hours.
Furthermore, two military vehicles carrying mercenaries were destroyed and dozens of mercenaries were killed and injured by explosive devices during repelling the attack.
The army launched a counter-attack on sites of coalition’s mercenaries after repelling their attack in Nar mount, killing, injuring dozens of the mercenaries and destroying two military vehicles.
