Coalition-backed gov’t says “no dialogue with STC before withdrew its forces”

ADEN, Aug. 15 (YPA) – The so-called foreign ministry in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Wednesday completely rejected any consultations called by Saudi Arabia, together with the so-called Southern Transition Council funded by the United Arab Emirates.

The ministry said in a statement that there would be no political dialogue with the so-called Transition Council in Aden before it withdrew its forces from the positions it had taken control in the city.

It noted that the coalition-backed government welcomes the Saudi call for a dialogue to stand up to the repercussions of the recent events in the occupied Aden a few days ago.

The statement stressed the need to withdraw the so-called Southern transition Council forces from positions they have captured in the past few days before any dialogue, the statement read.
