Yemen’s Shura Council condemns coalition massacre in Mostaba

SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – Yemen’s Shura Council strongly condemned the Sunday massacres committed by the Saudi-led aggression coalition air strikes against the citizens in Mostaba district of Hajjah province on Eid al-Adha.

The council in a statement held the United Nations, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council full responsible for silence towards the coalition crimes and disregard of targeting the Yemeni civilians.

The statement called on the United Nations to form an independent commission to probe into the war crimes and violations committed by the aggression against the Yemeni people.

On Sunday, the Saudi-led coalion warplanes waged a series of air strikes on residential areas of Mostaba district, killing nine citizens and wounding 16 others on Eid al-Adha.
