Iran’s Foreign Minister: Ending the war in Yemen will be a turning point for the region

SANAA, Aug. 6 (YPA) Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that ending the war in Yemen would be a turning point for the region’s countries.

“We confirmed from the beginning that the issue in Yemen is not resolved militarily and now they have to end the war that they thought will be resolved within weeks, rejecting all political solutions,” Zarif said in a statement to Al- Masirah TV on Monday.

He explained that Iran had no problem with Saudi Arabia; that Riyadh wanted to win military wars; that was far from achieved and would not be achieved.

International parties waiting for a truce in Yemen, which is seen as the key point towards regional peace, which will have a positive impact on the tense regional situation.
