SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Tuesday met with the Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Sebastian Treves.
During the meeting, the officials reviewed the activities of the Office and aspects of the implementation of humanitarian projects and programs under the of the United Nations.
Sharaf affirmed the National Salvation Government’s keenness to provide all facilities to international organizations and and their work in humanitarian role play in alleviating the effects and consequences of the humanitarian disaster caused by the aggression for about five years ago.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides all facilities to ensure the success of the functions of the Office of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen.
In turn, Treves expressed his hope to contribute to alleviating the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen.
