Information Ministry forms unit to follow up national vision implementation

SANAA, July 10 (YPA) – Ministry of Information on Wednesday approved the formation of a main executive unit and sub-units to follow up the implementation of the first phase of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state in relation to the ministry.

During the inauguration of the ministry’s first phase plan within the national vision 2019-2020 in the media sector, Minister of Information Dhaifallah al-Shami stressed the importance of placing actionable plans for developing media performance at all levels in accordance with guidelines of the national vision.

Al-Shami emphasized that the developing plans should focus on rehabilitation and training aspects to ensure capacity-development of media cadres in all disciplines.

He noted that the national media had already begun to implement the national vision contents and raise the awareness about the importance of vision in making the new Yemen future.
