UAE-backed militia abduct senior leader of revolutionary movement in Lahj

LAHJ, June 20 (YPA) – The UAE-backed militia on Thursday kidnapped a senior leader of the so-called” Revolutionary Movement Council” in al-Maflahi district in Lahj province, southern Yemen.

Sources reported that the security belt militia of the Southern Transitional Council loyal to the UAE occupation kidnapped Marwan al-Tharhani, deputy head of youth and student movement in Yafea area of al-Maflahi district and a leading official in the revolutionary council, from his house without any reasons.

Head of the monitoring and inspection department, member of the central committee of the revolutionary movement council, al-Sadiq Salem al-Rubaizi al-Aulaqi was kidnapped by the UAE-backed militia from his home in Shabwa province last week, because of his criticism of the UAE occupation.
