Ministry of Health calls on ICRC to evacuate dead, wounded in Hajjah

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – The official spokesman of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Dr. Yousef Al-Hadhari, on Sunday called on the International Red Cross to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibility and move its emergency crews to evacuate the dead and wounded under the destroyed houses.

In an exclusive statement to Yemen Press Agency, Al-Hadhari called on the International Red Cross to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibility and move its emergency crews to recover the dead and wounded under the destroyed house which the coalition’s airstrikes targeted in the center of the Kshar district and the flight prevents local paramedics from approaching the place of crime committed on Sunday.

 He stressed that 12 wounded , most of them children were rushed to the hospital of Qafla-Ghader and then to the hospitals in the capital Sanaa and remained a child, who did not exceed the year in the hospital after he lost all his family in the crime committed by the coalition’s warplanes.

The Ministry of Health had called in a prior statement to the international community to consider humanistically to what is happening in Yemen 4 years ago of destruction, siege and killing by direct shelling, epidemics and starvation and raise their voices high in the face of global arrogance represented by the US-British-Saudi alliance, as well as to assume their responsibility before this oppressed people who are besieged by air, land and sea.
