Education Ministry announces basic certificate exams’ results

SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Minister of Education and Scientific Research announced on Saturday the results of the basic education certificate exams for the academic year 2025-2026.

Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hatem al-Du’ais said that total approximately 294,473 male and female students took the tests among 302,092 students, while 7,619 were absent.

According to the conference, 252,421 students passed the exams, while 42,052 did not meet the required passing score.

He congratulated the students for their success in the exams, referring the great efforts made by the ministry in light of the scarcity of capabilities and difficult challenges.
