Several Israeli soldiers injured in explosive-laden drone

BEIRUT, April 30 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced on Thursday that it carried out an attack using an explosive-laden drone targeting an Israeli occupation artillery position in the Shumira area.

In a statement, the party said the strike resulted in injuries among several soldiers after an ammunition tanker was hit and set ablaze.

Hezbollah also stated that it targeted two Merkava tanks in the town of Bint Jbeil using attack drones, claiming to have inflicted direct hits.

The Israeli occupation forces, for its part, acknowledged that one of its drones had been shot down by a surface-to-air missile, signaling an escalation in battlefield capabilities.
