ADEN, May 26 (YPA) – A number of young protesters blocked several main streets in the Saudi-led coalition-controlled city of Aden on Monday, protesting the deteriorating services and living conditions.
Local sources in the city reported that dozens of angry youth blocked the main street in the Al-Mansoura district with stones and burning tires amid demands to denounce the ongoing power outages that last for more than 18 hours a day.
The sources explained that the Southern Transitional Council members pursued the protesters, reaching residential neighborhoods to arrest them.
Angry protests against the coalition and its affiliated government continue due to the deteriorating living conditions and services, as well as the recurring power outages that have plagued the city since early 2016.
