Omani businessmen establish deal in Sanaa to expand investment collaboration

SANAA, June 24 (YPA) – The Chairman of the General Authority for Investment in Sanaa, Yasser Al-Mansour, met on Saturday with a number of Omani businessmen and investors.

In the meeting, Al-Mansour reviewed investment opportunities in the mining and quarrying sector and other sectors, as well as the advantages and facilities provided by the Authority to those wishing to invest in Yemen.

The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in the economic and investment fields between the Authority and the Omani side and through the Omani Ministry of Investment, to strengthen relations between businessmen through institutional entities of the private sector, and to hold joint exhibitions to market Yemeni and Omani products and present investment opportunities in the two countries.

The Omani delegation expressed admiration for the Investment Authority’s readiness and its preparation for investment opportunities, confirming their desire to invest in Yemen due to its investment potential.
