Power cuts off in Aden

 ADEN, June 29 (YPA) – The electricity power in Yemen’s Aden province was suddenly cut off on Friday morning, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

 They said that the power was cut off at 08:30am and has not returned yet.

Officials in the ministry of power said that the blackout was caused by a technical malfunction caused by the electrical system’ to be out of work, adding that a technical team started to repair and restore power to the residential areas in the city of Aden.

In the summer season, the city of Aden is witnessing a steep rise in temperatures, usually exceeding the 40 degrees, amid high humidity.
