New military deployment for STC militias in Abyan

ABYAN, May 1 (YPA) – The UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC)’s militias sent on Saturday hundreds of gunmen to Abyan province over the past hours, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that the southern transitional sent the gunmen on board civilian cars and they deployed in surrounds of Khabar al-Maraqisha area of Khanfar district.

The sources declared that the southern transitional militiamen groups were stationed near the buffer points imposed by the mediation committee with Islah militants in the area, considering that as a threat to the military ceasefire.
