Over 38,000 security achievements accomplished in 4 years: Security Official

SANAA, March 23 (YPA) – Deputy Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Abdulhakim al-Khaiwani on Saturday said that the security services have achieved more than 38 thousand security achievements in the areas under the control of the Supreme Political Council.

Those achievements included foiling of 33 suicide attacks and 273 criminal plots, defusing of 1,397 explosive devices.

Maj. Gen. al-Khaiwani said, in an interview with Al-Thawra Newspaper Website, that those criminal schemes were targeting citizens in several places, including roads and public markets.

He noted that the security services thwarted schemes of the US-backed aggression that had targeted the home front through the suicide bombings in Badr and Al-Hashhosh mosques in capital Sanaa at the beginning of the aggression.
