Army carries out 41 operations against coalition militias in 72 hours

SANAA, March 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces carried out 41 military operations during the past 72 hours in response to the escalation of Saudi-led coalition and its militias, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army’s military operations included four offensives against the coalition militias’ positions in Nehm district, villages and hills nearby Jarah valley in Jizan, and in al-Boqa areas, as well as five attacks on sites and gatherings of the militias in Najd Faris and Marba al-Hamad in Najran and in al-Sallan and Qaita areas in Ham district of Jawf province.

The army’s missile forces targeted a training camp in al-Nar Mountain and Al-Arouba Brigade in al-Malaheet with two ballistic missiles of Badr-B1.

The army forces repelled six infiltration attempts by the coalition militias towards several sites, in al-Talaha and Northern Rushaha ares in al-Boqa, al-Jamajem area of Bayda province, al-Rabuah area of Asir region and Jarah valley in Jizan, in addition to foiling two attempts to infiltrate towards the army’s sites in Yam area of Nehm and al-Qaeef area in Jawf.
The military official confirmed the killing of more than 53 the coalition soldiers and militants, including Saudi soldiers, in sniping operations and during attacks carried out by the army’s units in the internal and border fronts, which also led to dozens of wounded in ranks of the coalition troops and militias.

The army fighters managed to destroy more than 18 military vehicles of the coalition militias during the operations, according to the official.
