Gold prices stabilize in world markets

SANAA, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Gold prices stabilized on Thursday below 10-month high recorded in the previous session as dollar rose after minutes from the Federal Reserve’s last meeting revived expectations for a possible U.S. rate hike this year.

The spot price of gold was up 0.1 percent at $ 1339.88 an ounce after touching $ 1346.73 in the previous session, its highest level since April 19.

US gold futures fell 0.4 percent to $ 1,342.8 an ounce.
