Report: Army’s artillery, missile attack inflicts coalition militias heavy casualties over 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out artillery and missile attacks against sites of the Saudi-led coalition and its militias over the past 24 hours, inflicting heavy casualties, the Military Media reported on Monday.

In border province of Najran, the army repelled the coalition fighter jets-backed attack by the militias towards Shaja site, killing over 20 militias and wounding 20 others.

The army also took over several sites of the militias in Rasha site and fired two Zilzal,1, missile at others groups in al-Ajashar and al-Buqa deserts in Najran, leaving heavy losses.

In Asir province, a numbers of the militias were killed and injured in the army’s attack in sites in al-Rabuah area.

The also shot dead two Saudi soldiers in  al-Jaraib village in Asir.

In Jawf province, dozens of the militias were killed and hurt in two ambushes in al-Dhahrah area of Khab Washaf district.

The army also repulsed an attack by the militias towards al-Maton district in Jawf, killing a number of the militias and wounding others.

In Hajjah province, the army carried out offensive against the militias in sites of al-Nar mountain in Haradh and Hairan areas, killing and wounding tens, as well as destroying three military cars.
