Yemeni Int’l center for commercial arbitration declared in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni International Center for Arbitration and Commercial Conciliation, which is affiliated to the Commercial and Industrial Chamber of the capital Sanaa, was declared on Tuesday in presence of the Supreme Political Council’s member, Mohammed al-Nuaemi.

In the declaring ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Junaid stressed the importance of the center in facilitating the business environment and solving many problems related to business and investment activities.

Al-Junaid said that the center would contribute alongside the commercial courts to increasing the confidence of national and foreign capital to invest in Yemen in many fields, without fears of any problems that may emerge and impede their investment and commercial activities.

He noted that the National Salvation Government looks at the private sector and the national capital as a complement and aid to the state in all fields.

“From this perspective, the private sector will play a major role in the process of construction and economic advancement,” al-Junaid said.
