Deputy PM discusses private arrangements to reopen Hodeidah port for commercial goods

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Hussein Abdullah Maqbouli discussed on Monday private arrangements to reopen Hodeidah port for commercial goods.

During his meeting with officials of Chamber of Commerce and Maritime, Maqbouli stressed the importance of cooperation the government and private sector to return of the route of commercial ships through the port.

The minister affirmed that the port should be opened in front of commercial goods and containers in according to Sweden’s agreement led by the United Nations.

Maqbouli stressed the reopening of Hodeidah port would alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, which is the main artery to various provinces and the largest Yemeni ports.
