Parliament discusses political developments, aggression repercussions

SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Sunday discussed the political developments and repercussions of the war waged by Saudi-led coalition on the country, as well as the efforts being made by the national delegation participating in Sweden consultations.

The parliament members expressed the hope that the consultations would lead to the cessation of aggression on Yemen and lifting of the air, sea and land blockade.

The members appealed to all the international community organizations, especially the United Nations and the Security Council, to take Yemen out of the Chapter VII and to lift the sanctions on the country and all Yemeni citizens.

They urged all negotiators from both sides in Sweden to put the interests of Yemeni people and the homeland above all else and to seek through the consultations to reach practical solutions to all the issues on the agenda, including the economic situation.
