Somali al-Shabaab kills 11 people on charges of dancing, listening to music

SANAA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The Somali terrorist group “al-Shabab” said that it has attacked a religious centre in central Somalia, killing a cleric and 10 students.

” A driver rammed an explosive-laden car into broke into the centre of the man who insulted the prophet,” Abdul Aziz Abu Musab, spokesman of the movement was quoted as saying by Reuters.

“Our gunmen are inside now and the battles are going on,” he said, adding that “the cleric named Abdul Wali was killed in the attack with 10 of his followers.”

“The gunmen may have targeted him because his centre mostly hosts young people who hear music and dance,” according to local residents in Galkayo district.
