US to monitor Saudi Attorney General’s investigations into Khashoggi’s death

SANAA, Nov. 13 (YPA) – US National Security advisor John Bolton said that the US is moving to monitor the Saudi Attorney general’s investigations into the case of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed inside Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018.

Bolton’s remarks came after two days of discussions between US President Donald Trump and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Paris on the sidelines of the ceremony commemorating the First World War truce.

Turkish sources said the talks between Erdogan and Trump were “positive” in all the issues they discussed.

Among the issues discussed by the two presidents was the murder of Khashoggi, the sources added.

According to the White House, the US is going to respond to Saudi Arabia because of the issue, Trump said that he would soon announce it.
