Army repels infiltration in Najran

NAJRAN, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Saturday foiled an infiltration of the coalition-backed militants in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Several militants, including leaders, were killed and injured during their attempt to infiltrate towards Ghazi hill in Sawh area, the official said.

The official indicated that the infiltration operation coincided with an intensive flying of the coalition warplanes and spy aircraft over the sky of the area.

The attack lasted for hours but without making any progress on the ground, the official added.
