UN approves resolution demanding a 30-day ceasefire in Syria

SANAA, Feb (YPA) – The UN Security Council has unanimously approved a resolution demanding a 30-day ceasefire in Syria.

The consensus was achieved through careful consultation with everyone, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mansour Al-Otaib said, adding that the resolution calls for a 30-day ceasefire in Syria as well as to allow aid deliveries and medical evacuations
