Port of Hodeidah’s authority denies coalition’s accusations of holding commercial vessels

HODEIDAH, Oct.7 (YPA) – The port of Hodeidah on Sunday denied all the allegations made by the Saudi-led coalition saying that the Port administration had detained commercial vessels and had not been allowed to unload them.

In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency (YPA) it said that the coalition’s the accusations of the coalition are not true and these come in the context of incitement aimed at closing the port of Hodeidah and halting the navigational movement, to tighten its blockade and narrow the options of living for the Yemeni people.”

“The Port of Hodeidah operates around the clock as part of a regular mechanism, depending on the time and date of access to the submersible with high accuracy and professionalism,” the statement said.

“The Port is doing its national and humanitarian duty to serve the ships that it has been using to ensure the continuity of its activities to meet the needs of citizens for basic materials,” the statement read.
