One armored car, Six military vehicles destroyed in western coast

WESTERN COAST, Sept. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Wednesday managed to destroy and damage one an armored car and six other military vehicles belonging to the coalition-backed militants in the West Coast front over the past 24 hours, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The army forces managed to destroy armored and military vehicles with an improvised explosive device (IED) and a landmine in the northern part of Durhimi district killing all their crew members, the official confirmed.

Four others military mechanisms were destroyed when the coalition-backed militants tried to advance towards the western part of Tuhita district, the official said.

On the same front, a military vehicle loaded with munitions for the militants was destroyed with an explosive device planted by army’s engineering unit in the west of Hays, the official added.

The coalition-backed militiamen inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment on the western coast of Yemen over the past 24 hours.
