Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition-backed militants in Bayda

BAYDA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Tuesday launched large scale attack on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Wadi Fadahah of Natie district in the central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack left dozens of the militants killed and injured, the official added.

The army forces were able to control and secure several sites and hills during the attack, the official confirmed.
