Lebanese resistance launches drone, rocket attacks on Israeli military gatherings

BEIRUT, March 26 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance announced on Thursday that it had carried out drone strikes on an Israeli occupation’s army logistics base in the settlement of Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee, as well as the Liman barracks north of Nahariya, marking the second such attack using a squadron of attack drones.

In a statement, the group also said it launched rocket barrages targeting the settlements of Avivim and Malkiya.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed the death of a soldier from its elite Golani Brigade during clashes in southern Lebanon the previous day, along with injuries to 15 other soldiers.

According to the occupation’s media reports, around 600 rockets, drones, and mortar shells were launched from Lebanon toward Israeli positions and troops in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

The Resistance further added that it had destroyed 18 Merkava tanks since early Thursday in frontline villages, raising the total number of tanks it says have been destroyed in Lebanon since the start of the conflict to 73. The occupation’s media described the morning as “difficult” due to sustained attacks on army positions.
