America officially acknowledges crash of F-18 plane in Red Sea

WASHINGTON, April 29 (YPA) – The Pentagon and the US Navy have acknowledged an incident involving a US Navy F/A-18 fighter jet operating in the Red Sea.

These confirmations come hours after Sanaa forces announced their clash with the US aircraft carrier group Harry S. Truman, forcing it to retreat north into the Red Sea.

According to a statement issued by the Pentagon, they are aware of the crash of an F-18, as well as reports of a “tractor” (believed to be a rocket launcher) being hit and a sailor injured.
