Ship carrying nearly one million sheep capsizes off coast of Aden

ADEN, April 26 (YPA) – A ship carrying sheep capsized off the coast of Aden, near Yemeni territorial waters.

Activists circulated footage showing a ship carrying nearly one million sheep at risk of sinking in the Gulf of Aden .

A group of Yemeni fishermen from Ras Al-Arah in western Lahj Governorate mobilized their boats for an emergency intervention to rescue both the ship’s crew (reportedly Somali nationals) and its livestock cargo.
