Protest rally staged in Lisbon to condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza

LISBON, March 19 (YPA) – Hundreds of activists in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, staged on a protest rally to denounce the Israeli occupation’s aggression against Gaza and in solidarity with Yemen.

In the rally, the protesters gathered in central Lisbon, wearing Palestinian keffiyehs and holding signs reading, “Ethnic cleansing is not self-defense” and “Stop Israeli genocide and illegal occupation,” where a large Palestinian flag was placed.

They called for an end to the Israeli genocide and for boycotts, sanctions, and divestment from Israeli occupation.
