Sanaa condemns US statements about displacing Palestinians from Gaza

SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – The spokesman for the Sanaa-based government and Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din, strongly condemned the statements of the US President Donald Trump about displacing the Palestinians from Gaza.

The minister affirmed that the statement of US President Donald Trump lacked a deep understanding of the psychology of free peoples and showed complete ignorance of the steadfast Palestinian psyche.

The spokesman said in a statement that Trump’s talk about the necessity of the Palestinians leaving Gaza permanently and living in another place where they do not face death was trying to raise the morale of the Zionists who were deeply shocked by the return of a million Palestinians to their homes in the northern Gaza Strip.

Sharaf al-Din pointed out that those who were forcibly displaced in an unforgettable 15-month genocidal war witnessed the brutality and tyranny of the Israeli enemy.

He explained that the enemy thought that it had managed to erase the Palestinian identity and uproot the roots of a people clinging to its land, but it, along with the Americans and the complicit Arab regimes, were surprised by the return of life to that blessed land of Gaza.

The minister stated that Trump’s statement confirmed the established truth that America and Israel are two sides of the same coin, noting that Trump’s talk about displacing the Palestinians remind the World to the usurping American mentality, based on occupying the land and killing and displacing the indigenous population, as happened with the Red Indians.

“This occupying, exploitative mentality that controls successive American administrations clearly shows itself in American support for the Israeli enemy and its participation in the aggression against the Palestinian people,” he added.
